Damping

Product Introduction:

HC Damp is a non-drying sheet of self-adhesive material based on butyl rubber with an aluminum foil or glass fiber cloth on surface. As increasingly lighter body panels reduce the ability of automobiles to block noise, HC Damp is becoming more and more important to combat structure-borne noise vibrations caused by metal and plastic components. In addition, HC Damp has higher damping properties over a wide temperature range, shielding against a wide range of vibration-induced interference signals and guaranteeing fast and accurate sensing of automotive radar.

The technology is ideally suited for vertical and inverted use, with typical uses being four doors, side enclosures and headliners, and in some cases, wheel covers and trunks.
