SNS Structural enhancement
Product Introduction:
Our SNS product is a product solution that combines a unique styrofoam with a highly engineered thermoset material. Safety and NVH Solution (SNS) can optimize body strength, stiffness, weight and cost by using the right amount of material in the right place. HC's technical team, through simultaneous forward development, provides customers with performance & process simulation analysis, process design, experimental validation, and adjusts the geometry, material quantity and layout of 3-D components to reduce weight, increase stiffness and strength, and improve the crashworthiness and safety of the vehicle. This reduces body weight, increases stiffness and strength, and improves vehicle crashworthiness and safety.
The collision enhancement solutions of SNS includes frontal and side collision, pole collision, small offset collision, and roof crash. By applying SNS to A-pillar, B-pillar, Kickdown and other positions, the load carrying capacity of the body structure can be effectively enhanced; the use of SNS on rockers, longitudinal beams inner cavities and other structures can enhance the structural energy absorption; and the application of SNS on D-pillar, C-ring and other positions can increase the structural rigidity.

SNS can also be used in combination with HC CFC, HC structural foam, embedded iron and other materials to achieve self-adaptability in strength, stiffness, toughness, cost and weight, maximizing performance and benefits. In the rocker, under the A-pillar and other high-strength non-deformation area, SNS base reinforced type + CFC continuous fiber type, SNS reinforced type + structural foam reinforced type, SNS reinforced type + embedded iron type becomes the combinations; in the high toughness of the rocker area and other high-toughness deformation area of the SNS base toughened type + structural foam toughened type becomes the combinations.
